MOTOR DIVISION COMPLIANCE OFFICER PROFILES AND SUPPORT STAFF DETAILS
Juanette started in the financial services industry in 1996 and was employed by Regent Insurance Company, Alexander Forbes and GIB Insurance Brokers. She began as a claims clerk and ended her broking career as an underwriter. Passionate about insurance and with a goal to build a career, the move to ICE in 2005 was an easy decision. With encouragement from her mentor, she proceeded to complete her qualification in Risk Management and registered as a Compliance Officer. She was quickly promoted to the Motor Division Manager at ICE and remained in this position when Associated Compliance was established.
In December 2015, Juanette was appointed as a Director of Associated Compliance and has retained a hands-on role in the Motor Division. Among other functions, she oversees all motor monitoring nationwide and serves as the liaison for Motor clients on financial services matters. She is also responsible for training the supervisee Compliance Officers and is the Chairman of the company’s Employment Equity Committee.
Faeeza worked in the banking industry for more than 15 years before joining the insurance industry in 2005, first as a Secretary, then as an Underwriter at Truck and General (later to become Wheels Underwriting Managers).
She joined Pretium Services in 2005 and has gained a good understanding of both the legislative and procedural aspects of the FAIS legislation while providing internal administrative assistance to FSP clients and support to its Compliance Officers.
Faeeza has completed a qualification in Risk Management through UNISA as well as her 1st level Regulatory exam for Key Individuals, and is now a fully fledged Compliance Officer For Motor clients.
Pranisha joined the financial services industry in 2005 at Mutual & Federal and shortly thereafter decided to move to the compliance industry with Pretium Services. She started as Compliance Officer back-up before making the decision to become a Compliance Officer herself. Once she had met the requirements, an application was lodged and approved by the FSB.
Pranisha worked in the motor department for two years and now looks after the full range of clients types.
She holds a qualification in Wealth Management and has successfully completed the Key Individual and Representative Regulatory Exams. She is a member of the Compliance Institute of South Africa.
Phiwo joined Associated Compliance as a Compliance Officer under supervision in 2014. She has done an LLB degree at the University of Johannesburg as well as a higher certificate in Practical Legal Training.
As one of the youngest Compliance Officers at Associated Compliance, Phiwo brings an out-of-the-box approach when it comes to tackling everyday compliance issues. Her current focus is within the Motor division.
Lindiwe joined Pretium Services in August 2006 as an administrator and over the years gained a good understanding of the FAIS Legislation by providing administrative support to Clients and Compliance Officers.
She has since completed a qualification in Financial Planning at Milpark Business School and has now been appointed as a Compliance Officers under supervision within the Motor division.
Claire started off in the insurance industry in 2004 where she spent a few years in the insurance broking environment in underwriting, administration and sales. She then joined a UMA and worked for three years focussing on the renewal process. After joining a broker using direct marketing as its means of sales, she was appointed as internal Compliance Manager and was registered with the FSB in 2014 as a Compliance Officer under supervision.
She joined Associated Compliance in March 2016, and is now nearing the end of her three-year supervision period.
Willem has been in the financial services industry for over 20 years. His experience has been in short-term insurance (Personal and Commercial Lines).
He joined Pretium Services in 2007 and has gained a good understanding of both the legislative and procedural aspects of the FAIS legislation while providing internal administrative assistance to FSP clients.
Willem has completed a Qualification in Risk Management through UNISA, and is now a Compliance Officer under supervision dealing with all categories of client.
